Do it, hit play and listen.. day dream about travelling around the world.

This song gets me so excited about our up and coming travels. The video clip, the lyrics the beat, it all amps me up, wishing I was already away having the time of my life traveling the world. Whats that saying good things come to those who wait?!

I just hope with all the amazing memories we create overseas I can look back and say "I never had it so good"

Were moving house in 2 weeks, into a house with existing flatmates to help us with our savings.
Should be veeery interesting!!!

The Big Post- Yep it's the first!

So Ben and I have decided to move to London. Ben being my boyfriend, best friend and the man I have chosen to share my life with from now (well a one year and five months now) and forever.

Me being, a 23 year old who was never fazed on doing the big OE. Who thought I would see the world when I was a real grown up and could afford to stay in hotels and see the world in style. Until I met Ben, his excitement for things is contagious, I love that about him and am so excited about this big adventure!

Que cute photo of the two of us.

I wanted to blog about the journey because I am a reader of a couple of beautiful blogs, and have been well and truly inspired. I want us to be able to look back over this blog and remember the experiences. I want our families to be able to check up on us and see what were up to (if they like it or not)

I want this to remind us of the little things that we would surely forget, and would love the option to turn it into a tacky photo book for the bookcase.

And so the "Little Bears Are Off" blog is born... Little bears being us, obviously. Yep were one of those couples with a cute nickname. Spew.

As of today the 19th of April 2012 we have $900 saved. We saved our first thousand last week. But my lovely wisdom teeth have decided to cause a bit of grief so we had to take out some cash for that. (Note to self get better at planning Greer)

Its the first step. A small one, but its done so now we are on our way to achieving our goals.

The goals being, move to London in October, travel around Europe for the first month or so, get jobs, a flat, and settle ourselves- we plan to see the Europe bit by bit over the course of 2 years. Festival by festival. Mojito by mojito. Then to travel through the US on the way home.

I have the papers to renew our passports, Ben has his forms for his Irish passport - lucky man doesn't need a visa. I on the other hand will be applying for a 2 year working visa the second we are less than 3 months from travelling (stupid guidelines).

So this is the first post in what I hope will be a long love affair with this blog.
