As I pass the time reading through my previous posts I notice something that is amazing.
Something has changed.. It's my attitude, and wow does it feel good.
I am at work, and I don't hate it, in fact for the last week or so I haven't minded coming to work- I am getting everything done, getting everything ready for the next poor employee to take my place.
Spring is on its way so it's no longer dark when I wake up and get ready, or quite so freezing!
We have moved out of our horrible damp flat, and into a lovely warm town house with our friends.
Ben and I have packed up our house, and everything is ready for the truck to pick it up, all we need now is to give the place a once over and then we never have to return!
My visa has been approved and is ready and waiting for me at my mama's house.
We have pounds saved, and our last pays will give us the balance we were after.
No more stressing! We leave Wellington next weekend. Yep that's right! So so soon, and I can't help feel a little sad now.. We have been through a lot in this little city and I mean a lot, and although I despised it most of the time I will always look back and love what it has done for our relationship.
If I hadn't known before I sure know now how much I love my little bear, and how what we have is truly something that most people only dream of.
So windy city, our days are numbered, lets make the most of our 10 days and enjoy each other.

Moving Day is Nearing!! Fast.
Its all rather stressful at the moment.. We leave Wellington in 3 weeks. Which is wonderful, I love that were getting closer and closer to our adventure.
BUT… We have so much to do it’s all rather stressful!
We are moving out soon- as in, in 3 days if the guy who is viewing the place today likes it. As in that means ALL of stuff needs to be out of our room in the next 3 days. We have a truck coming to collect our furniture, and what boxes I can pack in time. But I wanted to go through all of our stuff and sort them into 4 piles.
Pile 1 – charity
Pile 2 – things to sell
Pile 3 – things for the truck
Pile 4 – things we will be taking up in the car – this one is important because I don’t want to be left with too much stuff to fit due to un- organisation!
Tonight I will go home with bubble wrap and boxes and pack my ass off, one good thing about the house were in is the big garage. That’s were I'll be hanging out if anyone needs me!
Fingers crossed we will be out of our cold damp gross house and into our lovely friends house for the next 2-3 weeks.
If I can get this moving issue sorted and out of my head we are really on a smooth track- I just need to find a short term job for Auckland, find a nice suitcase and get through these last 12 days at work we will be on our way!!
Bring on the 31st!!
Bring on Auckland, my home.
And Bring ON London!!!

Thank goodness I checked.
All I can say is thank god I checked my contract last night, after Ben did the deed and resigned from work- with myself planning to do it in 2 weeks I got excited, so I checked my contract and hello there written in black ink were the words “4 weeks notice”
So this morning I too walked into my bosses office, shaking with nerves and told him I was handing in my notice and my last day would be the 31st . and what did he do? he smiled said oh yea cool- and that was that. All those nerves for nothing.
Poor little Ben didn’t have the same luck- this morning his GM was not a happy camper. But as this chapter closes a new and much more exciting one begins.
Now to focus on getting our room rented and selling off all of our belongings.
Countdown as it stands:
22 days left in this horrid office
31 days until we will be in Auckland
66 days until we will be in London
Now to celebrate with a BYO at our fave Thai restaurant because those visits are numbered!

3 Months
Yesterday was a big day. It was 3 months exactly until we fly out.
Which means I can now apply for my visa. Which also made me realise a few other things.
1- My passport is expired and I need that to do it.
2- I haven’t booked into do the biometric test.
3- I haven’t been to the bank to get a maintenance letter.
4- I haven’t filled out/ even downloaded the application forms.
All of which I need to have to get the ball rolling. Nice one on the organisation front.
So with me today is my completed passport application, at lunch I will get the referee bit signed and send it away. That takes 10 days to come back to me so that gives me enough time to book the test- fill out the application and sell heeeaps of my stuff so I have enough for the maintenance letter as I do not have 1800 pounds in the bank. whoops!
Slightly stressed an a little confused by the whole visa process but ill get there. Everything will be sorted and we will be back in Auckland in no time.
Auckland is one part I am extremely excited about. I can not wait to quit work (another part extremely exciting) and come up to stay for 2 weeks before flying out.
I want to go on coffee dates and nights out with friends, hang out with my nieces and nephews and my sisters, spend time with my mum, my dad, Ben’s parents and all the people we care about before disappearing for a few years.
I can’t wait until were in Croatia soaking up the sun- that’s were we will be off to after dumping our belongings and sleeping off the jet lag. Were going to warm our bones after a horrible Wellington winter, and to give us a break before entering an even worse London winter- though I am sure the London winter will be much easier to deal with given the location!
Three months till I get to blog more regularly because I actually have things to tell you about. Love that!! So so close.
75 days till I will be off work and on my way to AKay!
xx

134 days.
We have been on the hunt for cheap flights to Heathrow.
Last week we got a pretty good price emailed through, so I checked the itinerary and well well well what do we have here... 4 stops!? Are you kidding me! It was Auckland to Melbourne to Brunei to somewhere else to London- about 45 hours worth. No thank you!
So the hunt continued, until today when Ben emailed through another price and itinerary. I am happy to inform you that we have confirmed flights... We are leaving Auckland on Friday 5th of October 2012.
We are flying basically direct, we stop in Kuala Lumpur for all of 2ish hours. Its going to be a long 24hrs but i can not wait! Although I've only ever been as far as Melbourne so I don't know how I'll cope with long haul..
We have 134 days until the little bears are off on their big OE!!!
Better start kicking ass at saving that's for sure!

Do it, hit play and listen.. day dream about travelling around the world.
This song gets me so excited about our up and coming travels. The video clip, the lyrics the beat, it all amps me up, wishing I was already away having the time of my life traveling the world. Whats that saying good things come to those who wait?!
I just hope with all the amazing memories we create overseas I can look back and say "I never had it so good"
Were moving house in 2 weeks, into a house with existing flatmates to help us with our savings.
Should be veeery interesting!!!
