Last weekend we had another bank holiday, that's the second this month. May has an early May bank holiday and a Spring bank holiday, may be odd but I'm certainly not complaining!
As per most of my weekends Ben and I had some time to just us, on Saturday we went shopping for a dress for my work gala in two weeks, we went to Spitalfields market and spent the morning wandering around in the sunshine, London is finally giving us some good days!
Once my perfect dress was found we went to a sunny pub and had a few drinks. There is something about getting tispy during the day, in the sunshine with my favourite person. Just so much fun, so many jokes!
On Sunday we went to The Church. This has been around for 33 years, and is on every Sunday- We weren't brave enough to go on a normal weekend, so as we had the Monday off it was the perfect excuse.
Basically its a 4.5 hour rave, in Clapham. Everyone dresses up and if your not dressed up your a little bit awkward!
You have to buy drink tickets when you arrive, which is valid for 3 drinks of your choice which they give you in a plastic bag to help carry around- brilliant idea, and they have live entertainment, in the form of a male and female stripper..(both rather interesting)
It was not what I was expecting, I don't really know what I was expecting, everyone is so drunk, the venue is so sweaty and FULL of people... It's like a race to drink as much as you can and then at 4pm your out the door.
Time for Ben and I to go home, but not before the trusty trip to McDonald's!
Ben and I dressed as farmers- the flat got ready and headed off on the adventure, a few drinks on the tube is always a good way to start.

On Monday we hired bikes and attempted a trip to Streetfeast- stay tuned for that one we will get there, its only on Friday evenings, so next Friday that's where you will find me.
I am glad we got out and enjoyed yet another day of sunshine, we rode around for bout an hour. After recovering from Church that morning with a big breakfast! Before we set off we planned a BBQ in the park, 6:30 sharp we met at home with our meat and salads and off we set.
Nothing better than a BBQ in the sunshine on a bank holiday! Even if we do have to use disposable BBQs

Such a fun filled weekend and now that Summer is really around the corner there will be many more BBQs and park hangs that's for sure.
For now, its the start of a new weekend, and Hoxton Market is on the cards.
