I like these life lately posts, because it gives me a chance to catch up on life without worrying about having to write a million posts,

Summer is here, and its been a beauty!
we went to Eminem at Wembley about 2 weeks ago, and it was amazing.

Ive never been somewhere that's really hot, but have goosebumps all over- it was so surreal seeing him, as I guess i thought I never would. He was just as good as I ever could have imagined! Was sure to be a day/ night I wouldn't forget!

We've had Jamee's bday at our house, and I went to Tunbridge Wells for Liz and Chloe's joint bday party- I love hanging out with my English family, makes me feel like I'm at home here, its so nice!

Something else that happened was Ben's 29th Bday last week. We had a pretty good time, I brought him a watch, and I am the worst at keeping secrets and surprises. I was really organised and has his presents in my drawer at work, and every day for 2 weeks all i wanted to do was share the surprise.

I managed to wait, and he loved his watch, and his t-shirt. Was the best outcome, and started off one of the best days hes had- so he said.
We went out for dinner in Convent Garden after work, all American and boy did we feast! So much so we tried to head out for a drink but just couldn't fit it in!

Last weekend we really soaked up the sun! After going out for a few on Friday we headed to a BBQ at Anna ans Pies' place. They'd set up a paddling pool and it was probably the best chilled Saturday I've had in a while!
The whole weekend was lovely as we had the house to ourselves, so had watched movies, hung out and just really just spent quality time together.

On Friday night while I was in London my work Gala was on in Birmingham, they have a grand raffle and there are about 20 prizes in the draw, and I was lucky to win an iPad Air! I was a bit drunk when I got the What's app from Phoebe telling me and I went a little crazy! I should be getting it this week/ next week and I cant wait! Ive never won anything so am soaking up the excitement thats for sure!

This weekend we have mine and Ben's joint bday party, because its my bday in 8 days too! I love that our bday's are so close. Makes it such a special time of year.

Summer in the UK is pretty great, we have 2 trips booked, were off to Brugge for Bank holiday weekend in August, and Barcelona in September. I'll be making the most of that, that's for sure, as once the holidays are over, the passports are given to Home Office so I can get a spouse visa through Ben so we can continue with out UK adventure together!
